Front Page Progress

Here is my first design of my magazine front cover. The main anchorage image is in place in the bottom left and all the titles are in place with the right colours however I thought the magazine looked unprofessional with bar code  issue number and date. I chose the black background as it compliments the "dark" scene of Hip-Hop and makes the image jump off the page. The Masthead also remained in the same position for my final design.
