Magazine Front Page Analysis'

These are my front page analysis were I have analysed two front page magazine covers and described the features on each one and said why they are used

The layouts are pretty similar between the two front covers with the main subject of the magazine dominating the front cover with a massive image which highlights there importance within the issue of the magazine. Also both issues use pugs to grab the readers attenton and attract them to buy the magazine by the use of the word "special" which grabs the attention. The XXL magazine uses the colour White to make the image jump of the page and stand out as the image is in black. The Clash cover uses darker colours to show the dark side of Hip Hop and the colour Gold is used to show that the artist is on top.
