Coursework Brief

For my AS level coursework I will be investigating the music business and will be producing a Music Magazine for college students, I will produce a Front cover, a Contents page and a double page spread. I will also research music magazines such as Kerrang, Complex, The Rolling Stones for example in order to view the layout and house styles and target audiences. Before I start this task I have been a set a task to produce a Front Page of a college magazine and a mock up of a contents page. I will decide before doing the tasks which music genre I will choose to do the Magazine on and who the target audience will be, I will gather information by producing a questionnaire. I will post my coursework on this blog until April 2011.
The genre I have peicked to do my music magazine om is Rap/Hip Hop and I will use magazines such as Complex, Vibe and the Source to gather information and ideas on a format to do on my design.
